This Baltimore map came from the Sheridan Collection over at Peabody. The Baltimore Map plan from 1853 was created by James Slade who was a civil engineer to show the water sources for the city. I like it because it has a good representation of the waterways including the Jones Falls and the Gwynns Falls, and includes much of Baltimore County. The
downloadable map at the Sheridan is 11 Mb, a much larger map than I have shown here, so feel free to download it for yourself.
